So, I saw this idea in several places, and decided to adopt it for myself.

Today... November 16, 2009

Outside my window... is cold, dreary blackness

I am thinking... that I'm starting to get the midnight sillies...

I am thankful for... Right now, I am particularly thankful for white flour, eggs, vanilla, milk, sugar, and propane.  And running water.

I am wearing... a denim skirt, a pink silk Hawaii-thrift-store find top, wool socks (don't forget those!;), my beloved fair isle sweater, and a polka-dot apron

I am reading... Exodus, Hebrews, Masada; the last fortress, A Final Reckoning (Henty), and How To Teach Piano Successfully 

I am creating... doughnuts... at least I was... and a song on my ukulele

One of my favorite things... warm toes inside of thick, cozy wool socks, inside of blue rubber boots without holes in them

For school this week... I practiced piano, accordion, dulcimer, ukulele, and a duet part on the pennywhistle, helped the girls with their math and reading, and learned a little bit about programming in CSS

A keeper at home skill I am learning/using... I delved into the art of doughnut-making this evening!

A Godly character trait I plan to work on... diligence

Scripture I am memorizing... 1 Peter 1

I am praying for... the Lord to give wisdom and a thirst after truth to His children

I am wondering... who first used the smiley face:-)  =) >=-}) (<That's a double chin, BTW;)

For the rest of the week... I expect to be very cold=)
