I still remember you, Stonewall, and the many, many things you taught me during our time

together.

I pray that I will never forget those lessons, some learned in bitter anguish, some in girlhood dreams and hopes.

I have loved you so much it hurt, and hated you still more at times.

And you loved me in return.

You tried to kill me, time and time again.

I was awed by you power.

You waited at the gate in the morning, nickering softly just for me.  Your girl.

I was enthralled by your gentleness.

I gave everything I had for you.

And you, also, taught me many things.

 

 

 

 

 

 

You are a such a special little fellow.  

We miss you so much, but I know you are happy.  After all, you still have your favorite job - being loved by little children everywhere!

 

 

 

 

 

Brownie, you are so special to me.  When I thought I could never love again, you taught me that I could.  

You showed me things I never knew I had - you helped me to heal.

 

 

I am amazed at the way God has blessed me with His beautiful creatures, horses.  He has used them in my life in ways I never dreamed of.  Through them He has brought me closer to Himself, and I am so grateful for every heartache, every tear, and especially for every breathtaking gallop I have had the privilege to experience in His school.
