The weather out my window... The first day it really felt like summer!
I am thinking... The camera is acting up again. . . =(
What today held... Hmm . . . I sorted through and connected the greenhouse hoses, we put in a large part of the outdoor garden fence, went on a walk down to the pond with the girls and saw a nest of newborn robin chicks, Dolly had her kids - a boy and a girl, Tess Hahn dropped by for a visit, I made jam for the month, and I don't know what else! A sunny, busy day.
I am wearing... A jean skirt, purple tee, apron, and a twisted bun
I am feeling... rather tired, cool, and a little reminiscent
I am thankful... That Dolly's delivery went so well!
One of my favorite things... The miracle of a birth
I am reading... Judges, The Triumph of the Scarlet Pimpernel, The Screwtape Letters, and Sergeant York
In the kitchen... is a bouquet of fresh tulips
I am so blessed... to be in the family of God
I am creating... An incessant gush of sound on the piano
I am wishing... I had a little shiny-red '53 Chevy pickup truck<3
I am hearing... The girls outside playing in the dusk
A truth I am pondering... God doesn't have any grandchildren!
Random thought... Is it Little Red Sliding-Wood, or Little Red Slippery Wood-Hood? (Inside joke, people=)
Favorite Photos...

Just a few hours old

Doesn't he look like a wee little burro?

Molly or Madeline - which shall it be?

What darling kids! I love the pic with Lilly:) What a lovely smile.
For some reason kids look much sturdier at a few hours old than lambs do...maybe because they have more hair? idk
Did you get to watch Dolly giving birth? I still haven't seen any of my sheep giving birth - I always miss it by seconds. Maybe someday...

Perhaps they just are sturdier. . .I don't know, either:)
No, we just missed it by seconds, too - Ellen walked by the goats on her way to the greenhouse to get something, and when she came back, there they were! Everything went perfectly. I did see most of our ewes give birth, though - and it's pretty special to watch.

Oh! I want one! I think you should enter the picture of Lilly with kid in the fair. Love you!
